When people think of J-Tech they think of highway safety, and rightly so. J-Tech has evolved into a leader in keeping roadway workers safer in one of the most dangerous workplaces on the planet.
But long before the company became synonymous with the best attenuators in the business and innovations like the LaneBlade® highway debris removal system, J-Tech started as a specialized machining operation.
Based in southeastern Pennsylvania and servicing the nation, J-Tech Machine started in rebuilding valves for tanker trucks in 1993 as J-Tech Rebuild. An early commitment to excellence from start to finish produced a partnership with leading valve manufacturer Betts Industries and, for thirty years, J-Tech has been the exclusive rebuilder of that respected brand.
Always innovating, J-Tech Rebuild leadership developed improved processes for rebuilding high performance parts, like liquid tank spinners, where the sophisticated machine shop brings new life to expensive used parts and tests every rebuilt part before shipping.
Now, the division that started it all, J-Tech Rebuild, will rebrand as J-Tech Machine and showcase their time-tested services and innovated rebuilt valves and spinners with a state-of-the-art e-commerce website launching this summer.
“Tank cleaning spinners take a beating in the field from repeated use and abuse, but commercial tank cleaning depends on the spinner continuously cleaning trailer after trailer,” says J-Tech Founder and President, Scott Johnson. “J-Tech Machine is the one company that has always been there for these critical and specialized parts and now it will be even easier to work with us.”
The all new J-Tech Machine website will feature the company’s full offering of rebuilt liquid tank valves and spinners organized by category for easy location and procurement. Now, fleet managers in the liquid transportation industry will have a definitive resource for part replacement on demand, but J-Tech Machine will still offer all of the customized services that they always have.
Over the years, synergies between divisions have become less relevant to customers and each brand has developed its own mission and market. Developing stand alone educational websites is invaluable to the future of both J-Tech Highway Safety and J-Tech Machine.
“The e-commerce addition to J-Tech Machine is a supplement to our business designed to make life easier for our customers,” adds Johnson. “We will not stop the rebuilding processes that have gotten us to this point.”
The new site, with the address www.jtechmachine.com, will allow J-Tech Machine to offer inventory and on-demand purchasing whereas the previous system required customers to send in old valves.
As the company evolves the Machine division to its own site and revised, standalone brand, the current website will transition to focus solely on Highway Safety.
