SKID-AHEAD DISTANCE REDUCTION/NON-PROJECTILE DESIGN

J-Tech’s engineer certified “integral ballast design” provides skid-ahead distance reduction while maintaining “non-projectile ballast”. Don’t arm your TMA’s with minimum weight recommendations. J-Tech TMAs come standard with TrafFix Devices “Recommended” ballast inclusion.
SAFETY FOR ALL INVOLVED

The importance of bringing an errant vehicle safely to a stop while protecting workers cannot be overstated. Our specially engineered and reinforced chambers contain concrete to ballast and balance the TMA truck so that it withstands impact while performing its primary design function – bringing the errant vehicle to a controlled stop while protecting the occupants of that vehicle and the highway work zone workers.
