On April 28th and 29th, J-Tech attended the national 2015 ATSSA Fly-in in Washington DC. Over the course of the event, we were educated by experts on Capitol Hill on current highway infrastructure legislation, and were given the opportunity to meet with our local congressmen and senators.

The primary focus of the Fly-in was the need to come up with a funding solution for the Highway Trust Fund.

If funding is allowed to expire on May 31, 2015, federally funded highway infrastructure projects will be forced to stop. Already millions of dollars of projects have been cancelled or put on hold due to the uncertainty of funding. Our nation and our industry

need long term funding (6 plus years) in order for the needed work to be completed. Please join us in encouraging our lawmakers to do their part in improving our nation’s highway infrastructure!
