Company History

J-Tech was founded in 1993 in a one bay garage to rebuild components for the Bulk Transport Industry. With over 20 years’ experience J-Tech is the only authorized rebuilder for Betts Industries and Cloud Company. J-Tech is the recognized leader in this industry rebuilding valves, vents, and tank wash spinners nationwide.

In 2003 an opportunity presented itself to begin transporting vehicles for local Investor owned Utility Companies. J-Tech management took advantage of this opportunity and began our Logistics Division. Since then this Division has expanded to include the decommissioning of vehicles for these customers. J-Tech currently provides these services for JJ Kane, PSEG, Con Edison, PPL, Dominion Power, Pepco, and Frontier to name a few.

In 2004 J-Tech again expanded into the upfitting of emergency equipment on police and construction vehicles. At its peak J-Tech was building over 600 vehicles per year. Though this expansion we were approached and asked to build an attenuator truck (crash truck) for a heavy highway/bridge building contractor customer. As a result of the push to rebuild the decaying highway and bridge infrastructure in our country the attenuator truck business rapidly grew to include sales and rentals of these trucks. In 2015 the police car upfitting division was sold to a private investor so we could concentrate on the attenuator business.

Due to our growth we have expanded four times since 1993. We moved from our original 900 sq ft building in 1997 to a larger 2000 sq ft location and in 1999 we relocated to our current 18,000 sq ft location. In 2011 we took over an adjoining property which added another 10,000 sq ft of space.

The common thread of all of our Divisions is to represent the most respected suppliers and to provide the highest level of customer service with honesty, integrity, and dependability.
